Mimi Wheeler.
I am thrilled to join VIDA’s board having visited many times as a volunteer and having supported the organization through fundraising. I reside in Empire, MI while originally hailing from Denmark, where I obtained my BSW. I subsequently served as a social worker for various organizations during my career before founding Grocer’s Daughter Chocolate in 2004. I look forward to drawing on my years of experience and connections both in the US and Guatemala to advance VIDA’s mission in the months and years to come.
